Biography

Stacey Pilling began her dog training career over twenty years ago in the United States Air Force. In the military, she was selected to become a military working dog trainer at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas. During her military career she trained numerous canines for protection, search and seizure, scouting, drug detection and obedience. Stacey also worked as a law enforcement canine handler in the field for several years, further enhancing her training skills. She has received numerous awards for her outstanding service as a dog handler and trainer in the military working dog section and in the field.

 

Since leaving the military, Stacey has continued to offer her knowledge and uncanny ability to communicate and understand canines to the public. She has provided

canine services throughout the United States and in South America. She is capable of training in both English and Spanish. From her vast experiences with dogs from various breeds and temperaments, Stacey understands how to communicate with canines and translate their needs and desires to their human companion. She works as a canine interpreter to enhance family/canine relationships and to assist families reach their training goals.

 

Stacey Pilling earned her M.S. in social sciences from Michigan Technological University and has an extensive background in counseling. Stacey is a current member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.
